Louise is a French Qi Gong instructor, Yin Yoga teacher, and Reiki Master whose work focuses on the relationship between movement, awareness, breath, and human performance.
Her introduction to freediving came through her involvement in Martino's training and competitive projects. Contributing to areas such as safety procedures, training planning, nutrition, recovery, and mental preparation, she developed a broad understanding of the many factors that influence performance.
Approaching freediving from outside the traditional coaching pathway, Louise brought a complementary perspective rooted in embodied movement practices, energetic awareness, and holistic well-being. This position allowed her to observe the freediving process through a wider lens, identifying connections between movement quality, nervous system regulation, and performance both in and out of the water.
Over time, Louise became increasingly interested in the connections between traditional movement disciplines and freediving performance. Together with Martino, she began exploring how practices such as Qi Gong could support relaxation, body awareness, nervous system regulation, and movement efficiency in the water.
Together, Louise and Martino combine expertise from two complementary worlds. Drawing from both competitive freediving and traditional movement practices, they have developed a unique approach that integrates technical performance, body awareness, and nervous system regulation. Their work continues to evolve through ongoing practice, observation, and research, with the aim of helping divers progress in a way that is both effective and sustainable.
